Leaving Climate Week: AI, resilience and the need to act
Dexter reflects on a Climate Week dominated by AI, then returns to the practical climate agenda: credible data infrastructure, faster supply-chain action, and urgent investment in resilience and adaptation.
Climate resilience, investability and the urgency of Scope 3 action
Dexter reflects on Climate Week discussions about adaptation and resilient supply chains, then turns to PACT and the need to accelerate credible Scope 3 implementation without allowing perfect data to delay action.
Launching the 2026 Carbon Action Report
Dexter draws on the EcoVadis–Kearney report to argue that better supplier data should concentrate engagement, procurement leverage and investment where emissions are greatest—and move Scope 3 from measurement to action.
New Carbon Action Report: better data, more purposeful supplier action
Published 17 September 2026, the EcoVadis–Kearney report examines how reliable carbon data, supplier relationships and commercial incentives can support decarbonisation. Dexter contributes a foreword and is named among the EcoVadis contributors. The research covers 56,061 companies assessed from July 2025 to June 2026; only 4% use primary supplier data for Scope 3. The New York launch event follows on 21 September.
EcoVadis: The Carbon Data Key to Scope 3 Decarbonisation
Charlie King explores the report’s findings with commentary from Dexter, Pierre-François Thaler and Angela Hultberg: reliable supplier data matters most when it informs action.
EcoVadis: The Carbon Data Key to Scope 3 Decarbonisation
Georgia Collins examines what the report means for buying teams, quoting Dexter on the carbon-data gap and supplier engagement. The emphasis is practical: supplier selection, contracts and support.
EcoVadis on Data Quality in Supply Chain Decarbonisation
Louise Collins connects supplier data with decarbonisation and resilience, including Dexter’s comments on climate disruption and the need for better preparation across supply chains.
Big week in London at Sustainability LIVE (and Procurement Live).
